Laboratoire Schaack

Combined and skeletal prostheses

The skeletal denture, also known as a dental stellite, is a removable prosthesis with a metal reinforcing framework and custom-modeled, cast clasps. It is finer and more resistant than a simple partial resin denture. Laboratoire Schaack is one of the longest-standing labs producing this type of prosthesis. Cast add-on parts and laser welding are part of our daily routine. Skeletal frames are produced at Laboratoire Schaack using traditional techniques and high-quality materials. A combined prosthesis is a combination of both. It offers the security of fixed crowns and bridges, paired with the convenience of a removable element. We use different types of attachments (telescopic crown prostheses, MiniSG, CK, Dalbo, Rhein83, VKS Bredent systems, etc.) depending on the situation and the request. Every attachment, latch and telescopic connection is engineered for a perfect fit and reliable retention. The resulting combined prosthesis provides excellent stability, exceptional comfort and a stable, highly homogeneous base that prevents mucosal irritation and stomatitis — for patients who deserve both function and discretion.
